YAZ

YAZ is a programmers’ toolkit supporting the development of Z39.50/SRW/SRU clients and servers. Z39.50-2003 (version 3) as well as SRW/SRU version 1.1 are supported in both the client and server roles. The SOLR webservice is supported in the client role through the ZOOM API.

The Net::Z3950::Simple2ZOOM module provides all the application logic of a generic "Swiss Army Gateway" between Z39.50 and SRU. Masterkey: Drupal (MkDru) is an open source module for the Drupal CMS that embeds a fully themable metasearch interface. It can perform queries against one or more Z39.50, SRU/SRW and SOLR targets via Pazpar2, our likewise open search daemon. More sophisticated target management and other functionality can be obtained through integration with the MasterKey platform.
